Carlsbad
Flower Fields

All
of these photos were taken on April 20, 1997 in the Carlsbad
Flower Fields. They are located in Carlsbad, California,
not very far from the newly opened Lego Land California
amusement park. It is very beautiful from about the middle
of March through May. These pictures, mostly of Ranunculus,
were taken close to the peak of their beauty. The wide-angle
shots were taken with a 45mm lens, usually f/11 seemed to
work the best, on Fuji HG 100 ASA film. The close-ups were
with a 125mm lens between f/11 and 16. I hope you enjoy
and that the flowers' beauty comes through even half as
much as they do in person. As is the case with all of my
posted pictures, you can use these for computer wallpaper/desktops
and websites (but please give me credit and link it).Please
